- Innovative Practices for Student Achievement Conference
This DLC conference is an interactive professional development opportunity for educators in DLC member-schools. In order to encourage statewide participation, the annual conference alternates location from one side of the mountains to the other. Gather with your colleagues for workshops, discussions and sessions that focus on integrating technology and online resources to increase student success and align with powerful teaching. - Train the Trainer Workshop
Maximize the use of DLC resources in your school. Attend our two-day Train the Trainer workshop, a professional development opportunity for staff from DLC member-schools who are interested in playing a more active role in providing DLC assistance and support in their schools and/or districts. Local support, in combination with DLC trainings, has proven to help schools maximize their investment in DLC membership. - Teacher to Teacher Retreat
Our Teacher2Teacher Retreat is a five-day training designed for teachers who show strong leadership and make meaningful use of DLC resources. Using the concepts of peer coaching, our facilitators provide teachers with the skills and support to share their knowledge with other teachers. A participant handbook supplements the knowledge you gain on retreat, providing you with a permanent reference for your classroom. - Catalog of Courses, Workshops, Trainings and Resources
The DLC Professional Development catalog is a rich resource for teachers seeking high-quality online professional development opportunities. Ongoing DLC workshops and trainings also enhance the breadth of your knowledge. Teacher Quality Digest and New Horizons for Learning provide articles and information on effective teaching and learning practices.
