Thanks to Verizon Foundation for support of our Innovative Practices Conference

The DLC's Third Annual Innovative Practices in Student Achievement Conference took place in October at the Resort at Port Ludlow. Co-sponsored by Verizon Foundation, the conference was attended by educators who serve in diverse learning settings across the state. Searching for images is easy at the DLC

The DLC provides one web page with over a dozen links to sources where you can search and download free images for educational purposes. Students and educators are finding a wealth of imagery, maps, and charts through organizations such as Facts on File, SIRS, and netTrekker. This page of links is located in both the educator and students sections of our website: http://www.learningcommons.org/educators/library/images.php
