Searching in the Course Catalog

You can access the DLC course catalog a couple of ways via the DLC website:

  • By clicking the "Online Courses" link from the Students, Educators, and Parents sections.
  • By entering the DLC registration system via the Course Support page and clicking "Search the Course Catalog" on the registration homepage.

The course catalog viewed behind the registration system login includes course cost information not seen in the public versions of the catalog. Course prices have been negotiated with our respective providers and are only available to DLC-member schools.

Course catalog

You can search the course catalog a couple of ways:

  • Browse: You can browse the DLC catalog by first selecting a course subject, provider, level, grade or semester. Then narrow your search by selecting another category. For example, selecting "Mathematics" creates results for all DLC Math courses available for all providers, all levels, all grades, and all semesters. By then clicking "Advanced Placement," AP Math courses from all providers, semesters, and grades are shown. Select more categories to continue narrowing your search, or unselect a category to expand your search.
    • Browse results provide a linked list of courses that can be found in the category you've selected; clicking on more categories linked at the top of the results page helps to narrow your search.
  • Text search: To find courses containing specific terms or words in their titles or descriptions, you can enter search terms in the "Search for" textbox at the top of the page by selecting Online Courses in the drop-down menu. Note that you should use fairly narrow search terms to find what you're looking for most efficiently. For instance, you would get far fewer results by searching for "poetry" than you would by searching for "English."
    • Text results provide a linked list of the courses that feature your search term in their title or catalog descriptions.
