Technical Requirements

Before you select a course in the registration process, the DLC strongly encourages Registrars to make note of these key pieces of technology-related information, which are discussed in more detail on the next page.

Some coordination with district or building technology staff may be required; the DLC strongly recommends that Registrars, Teacher/Mentors, and tech staff meet to review the list of courses that students will be taking online while at school to make sure school computers allow students to fully access their online courses. If students plan to access their courses from a home computer, the following information is best reviewed by the student and/or the family.
