Orientation to ExploreLearning's Gizmos (by DLC staff)

ExploreLearning’s Gizmos are designed to help students develop a deep and lasting understanding of key concepts in math and science through inquiry and exploration. Using a DLC demo account, this session will provide a guided experience with several Gizmos, as well as a consideration of various ways in which Gizmos can support teaching and learning.

Technology Requirements	Access to telephone (headset recommended so that both hands are free) Comptuer with Internet Access Current web browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Netscape for Windows; Firefox, Intenet Explorer, or Safari for Mac OS.) Current version of Adobe Shockwave Player required. It can be freely downloaded from: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/
