Best Evidence Encyclopedia
Best Evidence Encyclopedia (BEE) is an easy-to-use website that presents summaries and full reports of high-quality evaluations of educational programs. BEE was created by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Data-Driven Reform in Education.
Catalog of School Reform Models
The Catalog of School Reform Models was designed to help educators find an external model that meets the needs of their schools. It provides descriptions of whole-school models and is updated regularly as models are added or removed, based on a formal review process.
Center for Educational Leadership
Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) exists to eliminate the achievement gap and believes that the achievement gap will be eliminated only when the quality of instruction improves. To this end, CEL offers a variety of professional development programs, school district partnerships, and customized leadership training, coaching, and support.
Just for the Kids
Just for the Kids provides web-based student achievement information on Washington schools, which allows you to see how students in other schools "like yours" are achieving. It could also become a platform for learning about what works. Just for the Kids is hosted by Washington School Research Center (WSRC), an independent research and data analysis center within Seattle Pacific University.
New Horizons for Learning
New Horizons for Learning has served as a leading-edge resource for educational change since 1980. This organization gives visibility to effective teaching and learning practices and explores and helps implement ideas that have not yet reached the mainstream. New Horizons for Learning is often a "launching pad" for new educational organizations and projects.

Partnership for Learning provides easy-to-understand information about Washington's school improvement efforts. You'll find state education reform updates, research studies of schools that have organized to meet new standards, tips for talking with members of your school community and the media, and OSPI newsletter archives.

Partnership for 21st Century Skills has emerged as the leading advocacy organization focused on infusing 21st century skills into education. The organization brings together the business community, education leaders, and policymakers to define a powerful vision for 21st century education to ensure every child's success as citizens and workers in the 21st century.
Promising Practices Network
Promising Practices Network (PPN) features summaries of evidence-based programs and practices that help improve the lives of children, youth, and families. Valuable information about proven and promising programs is included. PPN is operated by the Rand Corporation.
SchoolMatters
SchoolMatters provides rich information and powerful search and comparison tools to help uncover the stories behind the numbers, and further the discussion about how to improve student performance. Interactive training modules reside in the "Learning Center" section.
What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) gathers studies of the effectiveness of educational interventions (programs, products, practices, and policies). WWC reviews studies with strong research designs and reports on their strengths and weaknesses. WWC releases reports on a monthly basis, so check back regularly to find ideas that may assist you in teaching or program development.
