Peer Review

Get Started: Peer Review

Peer Review is an online workspace for discussion and group work. Students can post, review, and comment on documents, projects, or assignments, or work together to author a document. Use Peer Review to encourage student-to-student interaction, small-group work, and discussion and collaboration.

As of November 12, 2008, Catalyst will no longer permit users to create new Peer Review forums. You may continue to use existing forums after this date, including posting new documents and making comments. We encourage you to notify your current or past students that they should download any documents and comments they wish to archive from the Peer Review forums.

As of March 25, 2009, Peer Review will be entirely phased out, and forums will cease to be available online at this time. While we can retrieve data from Peer Reviews after this date on an as-needed basis, we encourage you and your students to download any needed documents before this time.

We want the transition to other tools to be as smooth as possible for you and your students. Catalyst has prepared a guide to get you started with other tools. It is organized by goal and provides suggestions and links for transitioning.

If you have any questions or concerns, Catalyst is happy to help you with training, advice, or one-on-one consulting to ensure that your transition is a smooth and successful one.
