Creating a ClassTools® Account
In order to create a new ClassTools account, you will need to complete a two-part training. The first 30-45 minute training provides an overview of the content and use of the resource; the second 90-120 minute training will guide you through best practices in classroom creation, student enrollment, content customization, and report tracking. Existing account holders are encouraged to participate but are exempt from this training requirement.
Follow these steps to create your account:
- Register for a ClassTools Overview training. You can find a scheduled web-based overview, or request a training.
- During the Overview, you'll be asked to create a DLC account (if you don't already have one). This marks your attendance at the training.
- Request an in-depth Classtools training.
- During the training, you'll be prompted to register for a ClassTools account.
- Once you have your account, you'll be able to add and remove subjects, as well as create student accounts.
