Help Students Prep for the WASL with DLC Resources

Online WASL prep courses are designed to help prepare students for specific portions of the WASL assessment.
Apex Learning ClassTools are developed by experienced instructional designers and subject matter experts to align to state and national standards. English, Math, and Science ClassTools can help students master subjects covered in the WASL.

ALP WASL Prep Resources can help students review and practice math and reading skills covered in the WASL. ALP Math is for middle and high school students, and ALP Reading is for middle school students (but can also be used in high school for review and special education).
Mathcasts are short screencasts designed to support instruction and help students prepare for the 10th grade WASL.
DLC Library databases can help students prepare for the WASL. Grolier's lesson plans are aligned to state standards. And both netTrekker and SIRS link to resources that support state standards.
DLC Tutors offer individualized WASL help, using the following DLC resources: ALPs, netTrekker, SIRS, Marco Polo, and ClassTools. To be matched with a tutor, students simply fill out a web form.
Online credit recovery courses can help students quickly make up missed credits and get up to speed with state standards. Browse the list of credit recovery courses in the course catalog.
OSPI WASL is a series of web resources, including an overview, FAQs, and timelines for the WASL (access the resources from the left navigation bar).
OSPI WASL Instructional Support Modules are intended for use by teachers during summer school sessions and/or throughout the school year in extended learning environments. They are designed to accelerate the achievement of students who have not met standards on the following portions of the WASL:
