ProQuest & eLibrary
See your school librarian for username and password information. These are not DLC-provided resources.
Both ProQuest and eLibrary are available to your school via subscription through your local ESD (Educational Service District) and a federally funded subsidy from the Statewide Database Licensing Project administered by the Washington State Library.
Get Started: ProQuest
ProQuest provides access to thousands of periodicals and newspapers. You can even access some of the articles themselves by choosing "Full text documents only." This is a great tool to use once you have narrowed your topic and have some specific keywords to search.
Get Started: eLibrary
eLibrary delivers one of the largest collections of periodicals and digital media, making it a useful reference resource for students. Do a keyword search or start by browsing topics. You can also choose from the following types of sources to narrow your search:
- Newspapers, magazines, and books
- Maps and pictures
- Audio and video clips
- TV and radio transcripts
