Introduction
In this activity, you will create a short presentation to share your T2T collaboration stories. Once finished, we will share our presentations with other participants in the form of a Gallery Walk.
Task
Create a 7–10 slide PowerPoint presentation that describes your collaboration work this year. Use your Gallery Walk Storyboard to guide your work. Your presentation should provide details about:
- Your collaboration.
- Your collaborating teachers.
- The steps you took to help them infuse DLC tools and/or resources into their classrooms.
You should provide enough details so that other participants will be able to reflect on and learn from your experience.
The Gallery Walk
A Gallery Walk works just like the name suggests; participants will have the opportunity to view a gallery of works, in this case works created by peers. Take notes and leave Wows or Wonders sticky notes for participants as you view each of the presentations.
Reflection
- View the Wows or Wonders you received from others.
- Participate in a silent Chalk Talk Reflection Protocol to reflect on:
- Insights you gained as a result of the T2T Collaboration Project.
- Areas of growth that remain for you as a T2T leader.
Chalk Talk Protocol directions:*
- Write your responses to the question in silence.
- You can add to other's responses by:
- Circling existing text (from someone else) that you find interesting or compelling. You may want to write a note that expands on why you find it interesting.
- Connecting two ideas that seem related by drawing a line between them. If you think ideas might be related, but you aren't sure, link them with a line and then put a question mark on the line.
- Circling some text you have a question about and then writing the question next to that idea.
- Conclude the activity by stepping back to view all of the comments to both prompts.
