T2T 2008-09 Finale Event

The Digital Learning Commons (DLC) T2T: A Collaboration Project is designed for teachers who show strong leadership at their school and have evidenced meaningful use of the DLC resources. The two-day finale takes place following a three-day retreat held last fall.

Lodging

All participants must RSVP directly to Maile Hadley to be added to our rooming list. The DLC will cover room and tax directly for all participants. To confirm your reservation you must call in with a credit card directly to CaveB. This will cover incidentals, phone calls, spa, pet fees, late check out fees and "no show" charges or cancellation fees.

The hotel cannot guarantee space for confirmations made after February 27, 2009, so please call in with a credit card as soon as possible. If you miss the deadline and the hotel is at capacity you will need to find your own lodging and submit a receipt for reimbursement.

Preparation

Please come prepared with an electronic of a three-minute, stand alone presentation. You will have time for final touches.

Make sure you know your UWNetID, as we will use the discussion board to collect presentations. For examples of presentations, please check out a selection of presentations by our 2007 Cohorts.

Clock Hours

Seven clock hours will be available at $2/clock hour through the Puget Sound Center for Teaching Learning & Technology. Please bring a check book as we cannot accept cash or credit card payments.

Schedule

During the finale, participants will:

• Present an improved lesson from a successful collaboration
• Learn how to use a protocol to reflect on their work
• Continue their exploration of DLC tools and resources
• Display their Gallery Walk Exhibition
